MegaMan slides and blasts through a mashup of Ghosts 'n Goblins chaos—charge shots feel good when you land them, but skeletons and pumpkin heads don’t make it easy. Still tough, just slightly less cruel than the original.

Okay, so this is basically what happens when MegaMan crashes into Ghosts 'n Goblins—and somehow it works? You get MegaMan’s life bar (thank god, because three lives in the original was brutal), but don’t relax—enemies swarm you like flies at a picnic. Skeletons, bats, those weird pumpkin-headed guys… they’re all here, and they don’t care about your feelings.
Controls are classic: arrows to move, Z to jump, X to shoot. Hold X for a charge shot, which is satisfying when it actually hits something. Down + Z makes you slide, which I mostly used to dodge at the last second before getting impaled. The levels are chaotic in that old-school way where everything wants to kill you, but nailing a perfect jump or clearing a screen of enemies feels great.
It’s still hard, just slightly less unfair than the original Ghosts 'n Goblins. You’ll die a lot, but at least you get to respawn more than three times.
