The battles are grid-based but surprisingly quick, and the Zerker form (basically a beast-mode upgrade) makes fights feel way more chaotic in the best way.
What I love is how the game doesn’t just throw you into mindless combat—there’s this whole social system where you make friends (or rivals) through wave signals, and their abilities actually affect your power-ups. The story’s got that classic MegaMan cheese, but it’s weirdly charming, especially when you’re uncovering secrets about the lost civilization of Mu.
