Midnight Club on GBA is basically the pocket-sized version of that PS2 street racing classic. You start off with some beat-up ride, but after a few illegal races in the city at night, you’re dumping cash into engine upgrades and flashy paint jobs. The handling’s a little stiff compared to the console version, but it’s impressive how much they crammed into a tiny cartridge—you’ve got shortcuts, cops chasing you, and that same "one more race" vibe.
Don’t expect fancy cutscenes or a deep story here—just pick a car, hit the gas, and try not to wipe out on tight corners. The AI racers actually put up a fight, which keeps things tense. If you played the original back in the day, this one’s a fun nostalgia trip with the volume turned down.
