Game Overview

I remember playing Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on my Game Boy back in 1994. Bandai published it, and it was one of those side-scrolling beat 'em ups that felt right at home on the handheld. You start out as the regular teenage Rangers, but things get serious once you morph into your powered-up forms.

You control one of the five Rangers, moving screen by screen to punch and kick your way through waves of Putty Patrollers. The main goal is to defeat the monster at the end of each stage before taking on Rita Repulsa herself. Signature mechanics include switching between unmorphed and morphed fighters, each with different moves, and using special weapons like the Power Sword for stronger attacks. The pacing is quick, and some later levels get surprisingly tough. It feels straightforward but satisfying when you land a solid combo.
