Gameplay is a side-scrolling beat 'em up where you move from left to right, clearing screens of enemies before progressing. You can switch between Rangers on the fly to use their unique abilities, like the Pink Ranger's bow or the Black Ranger's axe. After defeating a stage boss, you pilot that Ranger's Zord in a first-person shooting segment, culminating in a combined Megazord battle.
