Moon Mountain Adventure was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, though I don't recall the developer or publisher offhand. It fits right into that era of simple, experimental platformers that relied more on quirky mechanics than polished graphics.

You control an astronaut navigating a low gravity environment, jumping between platforms and avoiding hostile alien creatures. The main goal is to reach the end of each stage while collecting oxygen canisters to extend your survival time. The signature mechanics include floaty, momentum based jumps that require careful timing and screen by screen exploration with occasional hidden paths. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty comes from precision platforming and unpredictable enemy movements. It feels both awkward and strangely compelling when you finally nail a tricky sequence.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
