Mortal Kombat 3 on SNES is brutal, even by today's standards—blood sprays everywhere, bones crunch, and fatalities are just as ridiculous as you remember. The beta version feels a little rougher than the final release, but that almost adds to the charm. You’ve got new fighters like Kabal and Stryker, plus the whole "run" button that changes up the pace. Earthrealm’s basically wrecked, and Shao Kahn’s just stomping around like he owns the place. First thing I did? Spammed Sub-Zero’s freeze and uppercut combo like it was 1995 again.

Some of the animations are janky, and the AI cheats like crazy on higher difficulties, but that’s part of the nostalgia. You’ll either love it or rage-quit after the CPU reads your inputs for the tenth time.
