Mortal Kombat 3 on NES is... rough. It's a bootleg port, so you get the basic idea of the fighting mechanics but everything feels stiff—like your character's moving through wet cement. The fatalities are there, but they're so pixelated you might not even recognize what just happened.

I remember picking Sub-Zero first, expecting his ice blast to work like in the arcade version. Nope. The timing's off, the hit detection feels random, and half the special moves either don't work or require awkward button mashing. The AI either stands there or suddenly chains impossible combos out of nowhere.

Still, there's something weirdly charming about it. The fact that someone even tried to cram Mortal Kombat 3 onto an NES cartridge is kind of impressive, even if the result is barely playable.
