Play Naruto : Ninja Council Online
Pick Naruto or Sasuke and brawl through waves of enemies with jutsu and kunai—boss fights against familiar faces are where this GBA side-scroller really shines. Kakashi even drops by to help you figure out combos between stages.

I picked up Naruto: Ninja Council for the Game Boy Advance back in 2003, a time when licensed anime games were a bit of a gamble. It was developed by Tomy, and it felt like a solid attempt to bring the early arcs of the series into a portable format. The game doesn't try to reinvent the wheel, but it captures the energy of the show in a straightforward, action-focused package.
You control Naruto or Sasuke, moving through side-scrolling stages, punching and kicking your way through enemy ninja. Your main goal is to clear each area, which involves a mix of platforming and combat, leading up to a boss fight against someone like Zabuza or Haku. You can use basic combos, throw kunai, and eventually unleash signature jutsu like the Shadow Clone Technique. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty is manageable, though some later stages demand precise timing. It feels satisfying to land a big Rasengan or Chidori after building up your chakra, and the boss battles actually require you to learn patterns instead of just mashing buttons.
