Game Overview

I picked up Naruto: Ninjutsu Zenkai! Saikyou Ninja Daikesshuu back when it came out on Game Boy Advance in 2003, published by Tomy. It was one of those early Naruto games that tried to capture the show’s energy on a handheld, and it fit right in with the platform’s library of action titles. The graphics were bright and colorful, with big sprites and a lot of movement on screen, which was pretty standard for the time.

You control Naruto through a series of side-scrolling stages, fighting off enemy ninjas with basic combos, kunai throws, and special jutsu like the Rasengan. The goal is straightforward: beat up everyone in your path, defeat the stage boss, and move on. The combat is simple but fast, with a focus on stringing together attacks and using supers when your chakra meter fills up. It can get repetitive after a while, but the speed and responsiveness keep it engaging. Playing it feels like a quick, energetic burst of ninja action.
