Game Overview
Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Council 4 throws you right into the action—Gaara’s getting kidnapped by Akatsuki, and it’s up to you to fight through some surprisingly tough platforming levels to save him. The DS controls take a minute to get used to, but once you’ve got the hang of swiping for jutsu on the touchscreen, pulling off Rasengans and Chidoris feels pretty satisfying.
What’s cool is you’re not just stuck playing as Naruto. You can swap between Sakura, Kakashi, and a bunch of others, each with their own moves. I kept switching teams just to see how their combos worked together—some squads are way better for crowd control, others hit like a truck. And yeah, the multiplayer battles get chaotic fast if you’ve got friends around.
It’s not the deepest fighter out there, but if you’re into Naruto and want something that actually feels like the anime’s fights, this one’s a solid pick for the DS.
