Remember that weird dream SpongeBob had about robots taking over Bikini Bottom? This game is basically that, but way more chaotic (in the best way). You'll bounce around jellyfish fields as SpongeBob, swing through Kelp Forest as Sandy, and smash everything in sight as Patrick—all while collecting golden spatulas like some kind of underwater treasure hunter.

The controls feel surprisingly good for a licensed game, though Patrick's running animation still cracks me up every time. And yeah, the robot versions of Mr. Krabs and Plankton are as ridiculous as they sound. Just don't get too distracted by the random pineapple houses and sock-shaped rocks—there's actually a decent amount of platforming challenge here.

It's one of those rare cartoon games that doesn't feel like a cheap cash grab, especially if you grew up watching the early seasons.
