Game Overview

Night Mission Pinball v3.0 came out in 1986 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by Sublogic Corporation. It was one of those early PC pinball simulations that tried to capture the feel of an arcade cabinet without the quarters. The graphics were simple by today's standards, but at the time, the colorful, segmented playfield and smooth ball movement stood out among other digital pinball attempts on the platform.

You control the flippers, trying to keep the ball in play as long as possible while aiming for specific targets to rack up points. The main objective is straightforward: score big by hitting ramps, spinners, and drop targets, all while avoiding the drain. Signature mechanics include multi-ball play, which sends several balls onto the table at once, and mission-based bonuses that require hitting sequences of targets to activate special scoring modes. The pacing is fast, and the physics, while not perfect, demand precise timing. It feels like a genuine, if sometimes unforgiving, arcade experience condensed onto a floppy disk.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
