Game Overview

Night Stalker is one of those MS-DOS games that somehow makes a handful of pixels and beeping sound effects feel terrifying. You start in this dark maze—just you, a pistol, and a swarm of robots that absolutely do not want you there. The first time one of those drones corners you in a dead end, you’ll panic. But then you realize you can grab their weapons when they drop them, and suddenly you’re the hunter instead of the hunted.

The whole thing plays like a stripped-down Berzerk, but with this weird tension where the silence between shots feels heavier than the explosions. The controls are simple (move, shoot, pray), but the robots get smarter as you go, and the maze layouts keep you guessing. It’s the kind of game where you’ll die a lot at first, then suddenly hit a groove and feel like a genius for three minutes before getting ambushed again.

If you’ve got a soft spot for early ’80s arcade chaos, this one’s worth digging up. Just don’t blame me when you start seeing robots in your dreams.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
