Game Overview
Ninja Emaki is this wild arcade mashup where you play as a lone ninja cutting through demon hordes with a crossbow—because apparently, ninjas use those now. The first stage throws you right into the chaos: you’re dodging fireballs, picking up scrolls that change your attack (the spread shot is my go-to), and trying not to get cornered by those snake demons. Two levels switch things up with vertical shooter sections, which feel oddly satisfying when you’re raining arrows downward.
The story’s classic arcade nonsense—princess kidnapped, big snake demon to blame—but who cares when the action’s this frantic? The final boss is a proper screen-filler, and yeah, the game just loops after you win. No fancy endings here, just more demons to shred. If you miss the days of quarter-munching arcade chaos, this one’s got your back.
