Ninja Gaiden - Dragon Sword is one of those rare DS games that actually makes the stylus feel like a weapon. You slash enemies by dragging it across the screen, and after a few minutes, it clicks—suddenly you're pulling off crazy combos without thinking. The first time I blocked an attack by tapping at just the right moment, I actually flinched in real life.
It's got that classic Ninja Gaiden difficulty too—bosses will wreck you if you just button mash (or in this case, stylus flail). The story's your usual "ninja revenge" deal, but the way the DS flips sideways for widescreen action makes everything feel way more cinematic than it has any right to be on this little handheld.
My only gripe? Your hand cramps after an hour of non-stop slashing. Worth it though.
