Game Overview

Ninja Kazan is one of those classic arcade beat-em-ups where you slash through waves of demons while chasing down ancient scrolls. You play as Kazan, a ninja who’s got one piece of a legendary book—the other four are scattered across the world, guarded by some seriously nasty bosses. The levels take you from crumbling Greek temples to neon-lit back alleys in Japan, and each one ends with a big, screen-filling demon fight that’s half reflexes, half pattern memorization.

What I love is how each scroll you grab unlocks a new elemental attack—fire, wind, that kind of thing—so by the end, you’re juggling demons with a whole arsenal. The traps are cheap in that old-school way (watch out for the spinning blades in India), but it’s satisfying when you finally nail the timing. If you’ve ever wasted quarters on games like Shinobi or Final Fight, this’ll feel weirdly familiar in the best way.
