Operation Bear came out in 1992 as an arcade release from Arcade Studios. It was part of that wave of early 90s games where developers were pushing single screen action to its limits, focusing on tight mechanics over sprawling levels.

You control a small bear moving through a series of enclosed screens, avoiding or outmaneuvering waves of enemies that fill the space. Your main goal is simply to survive as long as possible, clearing each screen by either timing your movements perfectly or using occasional power ups that let you temporarily fight back. The pacing is relentless; enemies pour in quickly, and the challenge comes from reading their patterns and finding safe paths through the chaos.
