Game Overview

Outer Ridge is that kind of MS-DOS game you stumble on late at night and suddenly it's 3 AM because you just need one more run. The tracks twist and loop like someone threw a rollercoaster into a Tron movie, all neon wireframes and impossible angles. Your ship handles like it's on ice at first—until you realize that's the point. You're supposed to slide into turns, barely grazing the edges before boosting out.

It’s got that perfect balance of "I can totally do this" right before you spin out spectacularly. No fancy graphics, just speed and this weird hypnotic rhythm where you stop seeing pixels and start feeling the track. Found it buried in an old abandonware site years ago and still fire it up when I want that raw, unforgiving '90s racing vibe. You’ll either love it or rage-quit after the third crash—no in-between.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
