Play Pang on Msdos Online
Pop giant bouncing balls with a harpoon before they split into smaller, faster ones—easy until you're cornered in the pyramids with a screen full of ricocheting chaos. Co-op turns it into a hilarious scramble to not get squished.

Pang, released in 1990 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games library, was developed by Mitchell Corporation. It arrived during a period when arcade-style action was transitioning to home computers, offering straightforward, skill-based challenges without the pretense of deep narrative or complex systems. The game stood out for its clean visuals and immediate, accessible gameplay that felt right at home on the platform.
You control a character who must clear each screen of bouncing balls by shooting them with a harpoon gun. The main objective is to pop every ball before they overwhelm you; larger balls split into smaller, faster ones when hit, increasing the chaos. Signature mechanics include the ability to move only along the bottom of the screen, timing your shots carefully, and sometimes using a temporary pulley to reach higher areas. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty escalates quickly as stages introduce more balls and environmental obstacles. It feels tense and satisfying when you narrowly avoid a collision and clear a stage.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
