Play Peace Keepers, The Online

You swap between fighters mid-combo, juggling thugs with biker uppercuts and wrestler slams while neon-lit alleys crackle with every crunching hit. Co-op turns it into a chaotic tag-team brawl where timing your swaps keeps the beatdown flowing.

Game Overview

Man, The Peace Keepers on SNES is one of those games that makes you wonder why it wasn’t way bigger. It’s got everything you’d want from a beat-’em-up—giant sprites, satisfying punches that sound like a bag of chips getting crushed, and levels soaked in that grimy neon glow. But here’s the kicker: you can tag in your backup fighter mid-combo, which turns street brawls into this weirdly strategic dance of swapping dudes just in time to keep the chain going.

The characters? Total personalities. You’ve got the usual suspects—a biker, a wrestler, a dude with a boomerang—but they actually feel different to play, not just reskins. And the levels hide little shortcuts and power-ups if you’re willing to poke around (or elbow-drop the right dumpster). Co-op’s where it really shines, though—nothing like teaming up to juggle some goon between your fists before he even hits the ground.

Yeah, it’s no Streets of Rage, but that’s almost the point. It’s rougher, weirder, and has this scrappy charm that makes it feel like the cool underground cousin of the big-name brawlers. If you’ve got a SNES and a friend with questionable taste in fashion (it’s the ‘90s, after all), this one’s a riot.
