Peace Keepers, The came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, developed by Jaleco. It was part of that wave of side-scrolling beat 'em ups that filled arcades and living rooms back then, though it never quite reached the same level of recognition as some of the bigger names on the system.
You control one of four vigilantes, each with their own fighting style, clearing screen after screen of thugs across a futuristic city. The main goal is straightforward: fight through each stage, defeat the boss, and move on. What stands out is the ability to switch characters on the fly during combat, letting you chain together different moves and keep enemies airborne. You can also pick up weapons scattered around, like pipes or knives, to deal extra damage. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly in later levels. It feels like a solid, slightly rough brawler that rewards quick reflexes and smart character swapping.
