You're an adventurer knee-deep in an ancient Egyptian tomb, shovel in hand, surrounded by gold and jewels just begging to be dug up. But here's the catch—every time you grab a treasure, the walls start closing in, scarabs skitter toward you, and those creepy vipers slither out of nowhere. One wrong move and you're mummified.

The Atari 2600 doesn’t do subtlety, so the guardians here are gloriously blocky nightmares. The scarabs move in weird zig-zags, and the vipers? They’ve got this janky, stop-motion wiggle that somehow makes them even more unsettling. Dig too greedily and suddenly you’re boxed in with no escape—just like the poor souls who came before you.

It’s simple, brutal, and weirdly addictive. You’ll curse the pharaoh, then immediately hit restart.
