1995 Amiga pinball simulation with three time-themed tables: prehistoric, modern, and futuristic. Features multi-ball mode, scrollable playfields, and five-flipper futuristic table.
Game Overview
Pinball Prelude on the Amiga is one of those pinball games that actually tries something different. The first table throws you into a prehistoric jungle—half the time I wasn’t even sure what was a ramp and what was just scenery until the ball started rolling up a dinosaur’s tail. The present-day table feels familiar, almost like a warm-up before the wild third table set in the future, where suddenly you’ve got five flippers to juggle and chaos everywhere.
What really stands out is how the ball physics change depending on the table—the rubber ball in particular bounces in ways that’ll make you rethink every shot. And when things get crazy in hi-res mode with multi-ball, the screen smoothly scrolls to keep up with the action. It’s not just another sterile pinball sim; it’s got personality, even if that personality sometimes involves losing track of the ball in a futuristic neon maze.
