1995 Amiga pinball simulation with three tables: prehistoric dinosaur, classic, and high-tech with five flippers. Features multi-ball mode, scrolling playfield, and rubber ball physics.
Game Overview
Pinball Prelude on the Amiga is one of those pinball games that actually tries something different. The three tables are all themed around time—past, present, and future—and they don’t just slap some generic art on them. The dinosaur table in the past is weirdly immersive, with ramps and bumpers that look like they’re part of the landscape. Took me a minute to even figure out where the flippers were.
The present-day table is the most straightforward, almost like a warm-up before things get wild. But the future table? Five flippers. Five. It’s chaotic in the best way. There’s also this rubber ball mode that completely changes how the physics feel—way bouncier, way harder to predict. And if you trigger multi-ball, the screen shifts into hi-res, which is a neat little detail.
It’s not just about keeping the ball alive; you’re scrolling around to see the whole table, which makes it feel bigger than most digital pinball games. Definitely not your average flip-and-wait experience.
