Game Overview
Pocket Bomberman is this weird little GBC gem where you play as the classic bomb-throwing hero, but everything’s gone dark because some jerk named Babylon stole the sun. Typical Tuesday for Bomberman, I guess.
It’s got that classic maze-like action—drop bombs, blow up walls, dodge enemies—but with a cool day/night gimmick. When it’s "night" (which is most of the time, thanks Babylon), you can barely see beyond your own explosions. Feels chaotic in the best way, especially when you accidentally corner yourself. Learned that the hard way.
There’s a surprising amount of strategy too, like timing power-ups or luring enemies into traps. The music’s got that crunchy Game Boy charm, and the sprite work is way more detailed than it has any right to be. Definitely one of the better Bomberman spin-offs if you’re into that old-school, "why did I just blow myself up again" energy.
