Game Overview
Pong is about as simple as games get—two paddles, one ball, and a whole lot of back-and-forth. But don’t let that fool you. There’s something weirdly hypnotic about watching that little square bounce around, and before long, you’ll be leaning into every shot like it’s the finals of some imaginary tournament.
It’s the kind of game where you lose track of time. One minute you’re casually tapping the controls, the next you’re fully invested in a 20-minute rally, palms sweating, convinced the AI is cheating. The sound effects alone—that sharp beep when the ball connects—are burned into my brain from childhood arcade memories.
If you’ve never played it, you’re missing out on gaming history. If you have, well, you already know how easy it is to get sucked in all over again.
