Popoitto Hebereke is basically the SNES version of Dr. Mario, but with way more weirdness—in a good way. You’re dropping colored blocks to clear viruses (or in this case, little enemies), but instead of pills, you’ve got these round, squishy-looking characters bouncing around. The music’s upbeat, the colors are bright, and everything just feels… bouncier than Dr. Mario.

It’s a shame this one never made it to the US—it’s got that same satisfying puzzle loop, but with a goofier Japanese aesthetic. The controls are tight, and once you get the hang of chaining combos, it’s hard to put down. If you like classic puzzle games with a twist, this is a solid hidden gem.
