Play Power League Baseball 64 (J) Online

Pitching takes practice—time it wrong and you'll swing at air, but nailing a home run feels stupidly good. The blocky stadiums and janky crowd animations somehow make it more fun, especially when multiplayer turns into a bunt-fest with friends.

Game Overview

Power League Baseball 64 is one of those N64 baseball games that flew under the radar outside Japan, but it’s got this weirdly satisfying arcade feel to it. The pitching mechanics actually take some getting used to—you’ll whiff a few fastballs before timing clicks—but once it does, cracking a homer into the stands feels way better than it has any right to.

Stadiums are bright and a little blocky (it is the N64), but there’s something charming about the way the crowd animations pop when you pull off a double play. And yeah, multiplayer gets chaotic fast, especially if you’ve got a friend who insists on bunting every single pitch.

Not the deepest baseball sim, but it’s got that late-’90s Japanese sports game energy where everything’s just exaggerated enough to be fun.
