Game Overview

Princess of Persia came out in 2015 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a re-release that brought a different perspective to the familiar setting. Developed by the same minds behind the original Prince of Persia, it shifts the focus from the prince to the princess, placing you in her slippers during the same era of challenging platformers and unforgiving level design.

You control the princess as she navigates palace corridors, avoiding guards and deadly traps to reach the prince. The game retains the methodical, screen-by-screen exploration and precise jumping that defined its predecessor, but replaces combat with evasion and careful timing. It moves at a deliberate pace, demanding patience and observation rather than quick reflexes. Playing it feels like solving a tense, physical puzzle where every step could be your last.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
