Game Overview

R.O.M. Gold: Rings of Medusa came out in 1994 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, published by General Admission Software. It was one of those mid-90s action-adventure titles that felt right at home on a floppy disk, blending exploration and combat in a way that kept you clicking through directories just to dive back in.

You control Prince Cirion, sailing between islands, trading goods, and fighting off bandits to reassemble five magic rings and restore your fractured kingdom. The game plays out screen by screen, with real-time combat using a sword or bow, and plenty of dungeon delving for loot and secrets. It moves at a deliberate pace, not overly difficult but demanding attention to resource management and navigation. Playing it feels like slowly piecing together a map you drew yourself.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
