Ratatouille on the DS is way more fun than I expected—you get to be Remy the rat, sneaking around kitchens and cooking up a storm while trying not to get caught. The stylus controls actually work pretty well for chopping veggies or flipping food in a pan, though I definitely burned a few dishes at first.

It’s part cooking game, part stealth mission—one second you’re carefully timing a sauce reduction, the next you’re scrambling to hide under a table when someone walks in. The Parisian kitchens look great on the small screen, and the music makes it feel like you’re really in some fancy restaurant’s back alley.

If you ever wanted to live out that chaotic rat-chef fantasy (or just like games where you can mess up a recipe without real consequences), this one’s weirdly satisfying.
