Ratatouille on the DS is way more fun than I expected—you get to be Remy the rat, sneaking around kitchens and cooking up a storm. The stylus controls actually work pretty well for chopping veggies or flipping pancakes, though some of the later levels get surprisingly tricky when you're dodging chefs while trying not to burn the sauce.

It’s got this weird charm where one minute you’re carefully arranging garnishes, and the next you’re scrambling through air vents to escape. The cooking minigames are simple but satisfying, especially when you nail a perfect dish under pressure. Definitely a solid pick if you like games that mix quick reflexes with a little creativity.

Just don’t play it hungry—the pixelated food looks weirdly appetizing.
