Ratatouille on the PSP came out in 2007 from Heavy Iron Studios and THQ, a time when licensed movie games were everywhere on handhelds. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel, but it captured the film's charm in a compact, on the go package that felt right at home on Sony's little system.

You play as Remy the rat, navigating kitchens and the streets of Paris, mostly through linear stages. The main goal is to progress by completing cooking minigames, avoiding human enemies, and platforming across counters and rafters. Cooking involves quick time events and ingredient matching under time pressure, while evasion means sneaking past chefs or distracting them with well timed tricks. The difficulty stays manageable, though some minigames demand sharp attention. It feels light and cheerful, like a breezy extension of the movie's world.
