Game Overview

RBI Baseball '95 on the Sega 32X is one of those games that feels like a time capsule—right down to the slightly blocky player models and that satisfying crack when you nail a home run. It’s not the deepest baseball sim out there, but there’s something weirdly charming about how straightforward it is. Pick your team, swing for the fences, and try not to groan when your outfielder takes a comically bad route to a fly ball.

The graphics were a step up from the Genesis version, though don’t expect anything mind-blowing by today’s standards. Pitches have a nice arc to them, and the batting feels responsive—once you get the timing down, at least. I spent way too many afternoons as a kid trying to beat my brother with the Blue Jays, and honestly? It still holds up if you’re in the mood for some old-school baseball without too many frills.

Just don’t expect roster updates or online play. This is pure mid-’90s baseball, for better or worse.
