You wake up inside this massive alien cylinder—everything's smooth curves and strange hums—and just wander, poking at symbols that don't make sense until they suddenly do. Those "walls" aren't walls.

Game Overview
Rendezvous with Rama is one of those weird, quiet MS-DOS adventures that sticks with you. You wake up inside this massive alien cylinder—everything’s smooth curves and strange machinery—and the game just lets you poke around, no hand-holding. At first, it feels almost too empty, until you notice the little details: a hum from the walls, symbols that don’t match any human language, that kind of thing.
The puzzles are the good kind—the ones where you actually feel like you’re figuring out alien logic instead of just matching shapes. I got stuck for ages near the beginning because I didn’t realize some of the "walls" were doors. (Hint: stare at everything.) The pixel art’s got this eerie beauty to it, especially when you catch glimpses of Rama’s interior stretching into the distance.
It’s slow, sure, but in a way that makes the place feel real. If you’ve ever wanted to wander through an Arthur C. Clarke novel, this is probably the closest you’ll get.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
