Game Overview

Rocket Chase was part of the 0 MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a compilation of early titles that captured the spirit of PC gaming in the 1980s. It was a product of its time, built for systems where memory was measured in kilobytes and graphics were defined by simple shapes and a limited color palette. The game did not carry the name of a major publisher, instead representing the kind of experimental, homegrown software that flourished on the platform.

You pilot a small, triangular ship through a narrow, maze-like tunnel viewed from behind. Your objective is simple: fly as far as possible without colliding with the walls. The core mechanics are a race against a constantly depleting fuel gauge and the ship's own unwieldy momentum, which makes sharp turns a delicate balancing act. The game is brutally difficult, demanding perfect timing and memorization of the tunnel's layout to survive more than a few screens. It feels like a tense, high-stakes negotiation with the machine, where every input has immediate and often fatal consequences.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
