If you've ever wanted to command an army of tiny, super-deformed Gundams, this is your game. SD Gundam G Generation Portable throws you straight into grid-based battles where your chibi mobile suits look adorable but hit surprisingly hard. The first time I played, I spent way too long just scrolling through the roster—there are suits from practically every Gundam series, and half the fun is mixing obscure favorites with the classics.

Battles feel like a streamlined Fire Emblem with beam sabers. You'll shuffle units around, manage energy levels, and watch those little SD models unleash over-the-top animations. The customization goes deep too—I lost track of time tweaking pilots and upgrading weapons. Just don't expect a serious war sim; the tone stays light even when you're vaporizing Zakus by the dozen.

It's one of those PSP games that makes you wish the Vita had backward compatibility.
