Chibi Gundams and Zakus duke it out in floaty arenas—beam saber slashes feel weighty, and Char’s Zaku lets you zip around like a red blur before anyone can counter. That Gundam Hammer animation? Pure 90s toy nostalgia.

Game Overview

Ever wanted to see tiny, super-deformed Gundams beat the bolts out of each other? SD Gundam Generation - Colony Kakutouki is that weird, Japan-only SNES fighter where chibi Zakus and Gundams throw down in these little floating arenas. At first glance, it looks like a silly toybox brawler—until you realize there’s actual strategy in positioning and timing those over-the-top beam saber slashes.

Picking RX-78-2 feels like cheating at first (that beam rifle is nasty), but then you try Char’s Zaku and suddenly you’re dashing around like a red comet, landing cheeky hit-and-runs. The sprites have this plasticky, ’90s model kit charm, and the special moves are straight out of the anime—just wait until you see the Gundam Hammer in action. It’s janky in that old-school SNES way, but in a good "I can’t believe this exists" kind of way. Perfect for when you want to unwind with some absurd robot violence.
