Game Overview

You’re Sgt. Rock, the guy the Army calls when things go completely sideways. The Game Boy Color doesn’t hold back—right from the start, you’re tossed into enemy territory with just a rifle and a handful of grenades. No fancy intel, no backup. Just you, a lot of bad guys, and the occasional ammo dump where you can swap your rifle for something with a little more… impact.

What I love is how the game keeps throwing curveballs. One minute you’re clearing trenches, the next you’re hijacking a tank or blasting through river patrols in a stolen gunboat. The controls are simple—run, shoot, don’t die—but the missions get brutal fast. You’ll memorize enemy patterns or get overrun.

It’s got that classic arcade vibe where every pixel feels earned. If you’ve got a soft spot for old-school run-and-guns with zero handholding, this one’s a blast (sometimes literally).
