Shin Chan - Contra los Plastas is one of those weirdly charming DS games where you play as the little troublemaker himself, Shin Chan, running around causing chaos and fighting off these goofy villains called the Plastas. It’s a side-scroller, so you’ll be jumping over pits, smacking enemies with whatever’s lying around, and laughing at the ridiculous dialogue (if you understand Spanish, anyway).

The controls are simple—just enough to feel satisfying when you pull off a dumb stunt, like bouncing off an enemy’s head or throwing a melon at someone. Some levels drag a bit, but the humor keeps it light. Definitely more fun if you’re already a fan of the anime’s brand of nonsense.

Not the deepest platformer out there, but it’s got personality. You’ll know within the first few levels whether it’s your kind of silly.
