Game Overview

Second Reality Project 1 Hardtype is a fan-made modification of the 1994 Super Nintendo game Super Mario World, originally developed and published by Nintendo. It takes the familiar world of Dinosaur Land and twists it into something far more demanding, a product of the dedicated romhacking community that emerged long after the SNES era had passed.

You control Mario through a series of levels that require precise movement and quick reactions. The main goal remains reaching the goal tape, but the path is littered with new obstacles, like enemies placed in deliberately frustrating positions and jumps that demand pixel-perfect timing. The pacing is relentless, with little room for error, and the difficulty is significantly higher than the original game. It feels like solving a series of intricate, dangerous puzzles with each successful screen.
