Play Sonic Rush Adventure Online
Sonic and Tails get stranded on an island where you boost through twisty levels by pulling off mid-air tricks, then build janky boats to sail between tropical zones—half speed demon, half shipwright.

Game Overview
So, Sonic Rush Adventure starts with Sonic and Tails crashing their plane into the ocean—classic Tails luck, right? They wash up on some tropical island where this hyper raccoon named Marine immediately ropes them into fixing her boat. The whole game has this weirdly cozy island-hopping vibe, which is a fun change from the usual city-smashing chaos.
Gameplay’s fast, obviously—it’s Sonic—but with a twist. You build up speed by doing mid-air tricks (mashing B like a maniac), then unleash a super boost that turns you into a blue wrecking ball. The levels are these tight, loop-filled obstacle courses where you’re either going way too fast or faceplanting into spikes. No in-between.
Between levels, you’re stuck crafting boats to sail to new islands. It’s kinda like Phantom Hourglass, but instead of a slow steamboat, Sonic gets a jet ski, a submarine, even a hovercraft. Plotting routes on the map with the stylus is oddly satisfying, though the sailing minigames can get old after a while.
Oh, and there’s multiplayer! Race a friend locally or online, which mostly devolves into both of you spamming boosts and hoping you don’t eat a laser. It’s messy, but in the best way. If you liked the first Sonic Rush, this one cranks everything up—more speed, more tricks, more raccoon-induced chaos.
