Game Overview
If you've ever wanted to see Sonic the Hedgehog and friends in go-karts, this is your game. It's basically Mario Kart but with Sega characters—you've got Tails, AiAi from Super Monkey Ball, even old-school picks like Amigo from Samba de Amigo. The drifting feels surprisingly good for a DS game, and each character has their own ridiculous special move (Sonic turns into Super Sonic and just plows through everyone).
The tracks are full of little Sega references—racing through a giant pinball table or dodging Eggman's robots. The DS version obviously doesn't look as flashy as the console ones, but it's still chaotic fun, especially if you grab a friend for multiplayer. Just don't expect to win your first race against Shadow—that guy's annoyingly fast.
