It’s that same classic Sonic speed, but someone cranked the dial to 11—new levels, remixed classics, and even Knuckles gliding through zones he was never supposed to touch. The first time you hit a loop-de-loop and the camera tilts slightly, you’ll grin like it’s 1991 again.

The physics somehow feel better than the originals—no weird momentum hiccups when you roll down a slope—and the sprite work is ridiculously polished for a fan project. I got stuck in a new zone called "Neo Green Hill" for way too long because I kept stopping to gawk at the parallax layers. And yeah, you can finally play as Tails without him being a total liability.

It’s the kind of mod that makes you forget it wasn’t officially released by Sega. Just don’t blame me when you lose an afternoon to it.
