Space Cavern for the Atari 2600 throws you into this weird little alien planet where everything wants to zap you. You land, start poking around these caves, and suddenly these electric dinosaur things—Electrosauri—come at you from all sides. Left, right, even dropping from above. The laser gun helps, but man, they’re quick.

What’s cool is how the game tweaks itself—you can dial up the chaos with more enemies or make them shoot faster. The scoring’s oddly specific too: big Electrosauri give you 115 points, the small ones are worth more at 165, and these speedy marsupod things? 200 points if you can nail them. Good luck with that.

It’s one of those games where you’re constantly spinning around, trying not to get cornered. Classic Atari panic.
