Play Space Megaforce Online

Dodge a ridiculous storm of bullets while swapping between eight wild weapons—each upgrade turns your ship into a different kind of fireworks show. The SNES barely handles the chaos, and that’s the whole charm.

Game Overview

Space Megaforce (or Super Aleste, depending on where you played it) is one of those SNES shooters that just throws everything at you—literally. You’re piloting a lone ship against waves of alien nasties, but don’t worry, you’ve got options. Like, way too many options. Eight weapons, each with six upgrade levels? Yeah, good luck deciding between the homing lasers and the spread shot when everything’s already exploding.

The levels are pure chaos in the best way—bullets, enemies, and screen-filling bosses that make you wonder how the SNES didn’t catch fire. There’s a survival-style mode too, where you just try to last as long as possible while racking up points, which is great when you want a quick round without committing to the full campaign. It’s not the deepest story, but who cares when the action’s this relentless?

If you like your shooters fast, loud, and slightly overwhelming, this one’s a blast.
