You swing through New York with that classic animated series look, but the controls feel a little stiff compared to later Spidey games. Still, there's something charming about the way it captures the show's vibe, even if the wall-crawling physics make you want to throw your controller sometimes.

Fighting thugs in alleys and dodging projectiles from guys like Kingpin feels exactly like an episode of the cartoon, right down to the exaggerated animations. Just don't expect it to play as smoothly as it looks. It's one of those games where nostalgia does a lot of the heavy lifting.
