Play Star Trek: 25th Anniversary on Msdos Online
You captain the Enterprise through point-and-click missions and ship battles, juggling diplomacy, phaser fights, and keeping your crew alive (mostly). Feels like digging up a lost TOS episode with all the charm and chaos intact.

Star Trek: 25th Anniversary came out in 1992 for MS-DOS, developed by Interplay Entertainment. It was one of the few games at the time that tried to capture the feel of the original series, with its mix of space exploration and problem solving. The graphics and interface were typical for the era, relying on point-and-click interaction and VGA visuals to bring the universe to life.
You control Captain Kirk and his crew, moving through locations screen by screen, talking to aliens, collecting items, and solving logic puzzles to complete each mission. The main objective is to successfully finish a series of standalone episodes that feel like lost stories from the show. You also engage in starship combat, managing power allocation and issuing orders to your bridge officers. The pacing is deliberate, with some puzzles requiring careful thought, and the difficulty can spike during space battles. It feels like stepping directly into an episode of the original series, complete with all its idealism and occasional absurdity.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
