Play Starflight on Msdos Online
You scrape by with a rusty ship and a clueless crew, scanning planets until you realize you're almost out of fuel—then panic sets in. The galaxy doesn't care if you play nice or piss off every alien you meet.

Game Overview
Starflight on MS-DOS is one of those games that makes you realize how much modern space RPGs owe to it. You start with a rickety ship, a small crew, and a galaxy that couldn’t care less if you survive—which is exactly what makes it so gripping. The first time I played, I spent way too long just scanning planets for minerals, completely forgetting that my fuel was running low. Classic rookie mistake.
What’s wild is how much freedom you have. You can be a peaceful explorer, a ruthless pirate, or just a really bad diplomat who keeps accidentally insulting alien civilizations (I may have done that). The pixel art hasn’t aged perfectly, but there’s something about stumbling onto a weird new species or uncovering a planet’s secret that still feels magical. And that synth soundtrack? It’s like someone distilled 80s sci-fi into music.
If you’ve ever played Mass Effect or No Man’s Sky and wondered where their DNA came from, this is it. Just don’t blame me when you lose three hours trying to decode an alien artifact.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
