You control a sumo wrestler from a top-down perspective, moving around a small circular ring. The main objective is to either push your opponent out of the ring or force them to touch the ground with any part of their body besides their feet. Signature mechanics include timing your charges to build momentum, grappling to unbalance your rival, and using quick slaps to disrupt their stance. The pacing is extremely fast, with most matches decided in a matter of seconds, and the difficulty can feel unforgiving as the computer opponents read your moves with precision. It feels chaotic and silly, especially when a poorly timed shove sends your character stumbling comically across the screen.
